This Friday Figure is bringing his Gravity Tour to Purdue. This Indiana native will unleash his latest album in full force (among others in his collection) for the first time in his home state.  Filabusta will also be in the building, along with Indy’s own Indigo Child and jFet. is giving you a chance to get in free. All you have to do is follow the directions at the bottom of the page on how to enter. This show is going to be insane, we’ll see you there!

Josh Gard has had a long history in music, and lately he has been rapidly rising up the ranks for all things bass. Just a few short years ago he donned the name Figure and began making electro house, but has since become a regular name in all realms of electronic and dance. Scoring positions among the charts may have gotten him recognition, but a hefty amount of praise has been raining down on him lately as some of the leading artists in electronic music have valued his live performance skills as some of the best in the business.

Figure has been at the top of the horror game for the past 5 years with all of his monster themed tracks. Monsters Of Drumstep 6.66 is coming out next week October 6th, marking it the 6th in the Monsters Of Drumstep series. Figure has put out a new full length album every October for the last 6 years and I heard this one has a few surprises most his die-hard collectors will appreciate. Check out the Video preview for the album and the video for his latest track Freddy Kruger below.

This tour will be mainly focused on his latest release Gravity. Gravity is a 17 track journey of various tempos and sounds. A multi-genre masterpiece. There is some great collaborations on this album with KJ Sawka (Destroid) , Mr. Skeleton, A Plus, Whiskey Pete, and more. This one should definitely be listened to from front to back the first time.

“The Midwest king of bass… Filibusta is blowin my brain all over the cubicle” Nobody knows the true value of your potential better than you do. Opening new doors and learning new ways of exploring that potential is key to distinguishing yourself from the billions of other people circling the game board with you.

Teaching himself how to play guitar got Midwest-based producer Troy Probst off to a strong start, directing his naturally driven dexterities towards pushing his limits and mastering the unfamiliar. By 2007, Probst had begun to produce and mix electronic music under the name Filibusta, bracing the scene with his goal to “restore the progressive and melodic elements of glitch and dubstep.” Throughout his young career, Filibusta has been recognized for his innovative approach to his music, dynamic live show, and a flare for complexity and diversity; pushing new boundaries, bouncing through genres from glitch, trap, dubstep and future funk. His 17- track debut LP Honeycomb Eyes (2012), is described as combining “gritty hip hop vocal samples with his handcrafted beats and gripping bass drives for an impressive balance ofcomplexity, zest, and originality, paralleling the work of other contemporary artists like Gramatik, Archnemesis, Robotic Pirate Monkey, and Satoru.”

Hailing from Pennsylvania, Rob Siemasko a.k.a. Indigo Child grew up being encouraged to produce his own sound. Starting early, he was a classically trained violinist in his youth. Then he turned to bass guitar for a little more emotion and found himself experimenting with different sound including jamtronica. One day he discovered dubstep, that day was the beginning of his idea for Indigo Child. Rob started working hard on his mixing skills and during that time ended up in Indianapolis. Someone told him that he should check out IndyMojo and The Mousetrap.

Four years later, now a member of IndyMojo and G-9 Collective,  we have seen him rise up as one of the main dubstep contenders in a talent filled group of DJs. He has played with the likes of Caspa, Savoy, Downlink, Vaski, Terravita, Figure, Reid Speed, and many more. In the past two years he has been producing his own tracks and honing in on his own sound. More recently he has caught the attention of New Zealand natives TRUTH, who just dropped one of his tracks on their new label Deep, Dark, Dangerous. He recently opened the show for the Indy stop on the Safe In Sound Tour with Zomboy, Datsik, Bro Safari, Terravita, and Delta Heavy.

The jFET Project began in early 2011 by Producer / DJ “Jangatha.” After over 50 house music releases on some of the most respected labels in both digital and vinyl format, the need to seek fresh sounds was instilled and inspired by the edgy bass music arena. The focus is rather simple, to push fresh hype sounds in any BPM it fits best. jFET’s sounds have been catching on quick. His debut EP reached #15 on the Beatport Dubstep Release charts, and caught the attention of several respected blogs including The Untz. 2012 included a release from Play Me Records as part of the New Blood of Dubstep. With support from international touring acts such as Figure, Ajapai, and Reid Speed, we will likely be hearing much more to come from this eclectic project. jFET: Intergalactic Hitman / Producer / Performer.

Past performances include: Infected Mushroom, Datsik, Zomboy, 12th Planet, Downlink, Delta Heavy, Skism, Terravita, Cookie Monsta, Bare Noize, Mt. Eden, Crizzly, Butch Clancy, Mayhem, High Rankin, Eptic, Ajapai, Cyberoptics, J. Rabbit, Vaski, Mark Instinct, Reid Speed, Sluggo, AFK, Antiserum, Archnemesis, Singularity, & Ill-esha.
